There's no need for further elaboration, since we all know the makings of our existence in this world as it stands. Does such a world understand its own trauma? And does it need another band, to do what exactly? Why Hapticwound now? To what end will this band's journey go to have its voice heard? Perhaps, it's the attraction of discovery, of knowing that what's held inside for so long is simply waiting to come out in this convergence, where lines of love and liberation slice peacefully against dark swaths blanketing this ocean of worry and sleeplessness. A narrative that's all too familiar and now so real.
You might say that as an independent artist, this experience is awakening the inner self in me after the trauma of a country mired in distress. Nothing will ever be the same, the rules have changed altogether, and a new song needs singing.
